Beck portrayed Loving's Trisha from 1984 to 1993, returning briefly in 1995 as the series neared cancellation. On May 8, 2008 she took over the role of Lily Walsh Snyder on the CBS soap As the World Turns, previously portrayed by Martha Byrne (1985–1989, 1993–2008) and Heather Rattray (1989–1993).

Beck married Eric Petterson on August 5, 1990. They have two daughters, Forrest (born 1991) and Spencer (born 1992), and a son, Brock (born 1998). Noelle was featured on HGTV's show Selling New York where she was featured attempting to sell her parents luxe Gramercy apartment but failed.

She has also guest-starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Sex and the City, and Spin City.
